Week 42 - ITF W100 Shrewsbury, Great Britain Hard

Hannah wins, next in line is Lily. Hannah is good but Lily may be a step too far at this stage.

Will definitely be watching that one. Should be a good match up

sorry if this is covered above, but Hannah is the youngest player to qualify for an ITF100 event - and presumably that also means the youngest to win a main draw match? Has beaten Coco's record

Yes, Feistel beat Ranah on the way to winning the Monastir W15 last week. Hannah had a great result, but I expect Feistel had been softened up by  two tough matches in beating Holly and Alice. Hannah has great talent and attitude and I hope she avoids injuries as she will go far.

Great win following the antics of her opponent.

I think Hannah v Lily will be close - probably 3 sets

My only concern for Hannah (which is hardly major - it really doesn't matter if she wins or loses) - is that this week has been such a buzz so far - majorly succeeded most people's expectations - lots of media focus etc.

I think she may well find it difficult to get the buzz going for each and every match

But, as said, it hardly matters and, yes, I'm expecting it to be close too.

Peter, Fran and Katie played today so they will play next on Wedhesday. Oops! I mean Thursday smile

Peter, Fran and Katie played today so they will play next on Wednesday.

As DF says, this is confirmed on the OOP - see the ITF live scores.

Does seem like a 50/50 match, Lily has the experience but tends to blow hot and cold and has struggled to replicate her US Open form.

I'd had yesterday down as a 'must watch', really good day in the making. With lots of wins predicted.

And so it proved to be.

Anna would have been the icing on the cake but was not really expected.

But seeing Fran and Katie back on the court and winning, and young Hannah too, was just grand

Today I think will be a lot less exciting in that way.

Marni v Katy gives us a guaranteed winner but hey.....may the better player win...end of ....

Harriet has to win and the only surprise will be if she doesn't, or makes a meal out of it

And I expect Isa to lose reasonably easily.

Just being greedy but shame it was Ozgen who got the LL spot, and not Alice or Kat

For those only looking at the dead ITF liveboard, it's *4-1 to Harriet

ADD: the board is now back up and running
