What is it with the poor commentator not being able to pronounce 'Jones'? You wouldn't have thought it was the hardest.......

(She seems to have read it as Johns....???....and even says that in a funny way)

Well, Fran gets a lot of credit for that win, of course

But so do Imogen Haddad and Kat Barnes

Emma Lene had to retire at 4-3 in the second set - her leg was heavily taped which was not that surprising, given the very long three-setters she played over the past couple of days.

But it's a win for Fran (who was also probably very, very pleased not to have go anywhere near a third set....)

Hannah got broken after a couple of backhand errors

And then absolutely went for the jugular - all lights blazing - amazing attacking tennis and great variety too.

Broke back, held and broke again, to lead *5-3

Only for the Polish woman to go and sit down and call the trainer

Which could be a pretty 'strategic' MTO........

(commentator is saying it could be illness.....yes, could be......or not)

Sorry if I've missed this but I can't hear any commentary even on the LTA youtube version. Where can I find this?

I also found that quite convenient. Theres more treatment now after Hannah won the first set.

Would that be Abigail Johnson ? Her accent can sound slightly Aus at times although I think she is British

Hmmm. I've noticed this quite often with our younger players. It coincidentally always happens when our player is on a roll, and just before they are due to serve after going up in the set...Didn't  seem to put Hannah off though and it's good to learn how to manage these disruptions.

I'm not sure but, yes, there is a sort of Aussie twang in the background so I'm guessing, yep, you're right

Ok, Hannah.....

Now serving for the match

(Feistel tried to take the leather off that ball - absolutely lamming it - but Hannah got it back - and then Feistel got cross and made a couple of poor errors)
