Thank you thats the one I wanted to know who it was. I quite like Katy dunne as a commentator atm. The other one is really irritating

Katy Dunne is the player in the commentary box - can't help you with the actual commentator

Don't know for certain, but pretty sure it is Abigail Johnson - she is there all week. And definitely Katy alongside her.

Prayer circle that Klugman doesnt get the British curse of injuries please

(No idea if it is a higher frequency than elsewhere but it *feels* that way)

You know ( and I hate to tempt fate!) but if you read Hannah's back story, she is primarily an all-around athlete and didn't focus on tennis until a few years ago. I hate to draw similarities to Coco but I think we have an all-round athlete here ( a bit like Ash). On that basis, she should be fine. Having said that - any twinges she should pull out?

I watched the diamond league athletics finals a few weeks back and the commentator was taking about why world records like Jonathan Edwards triple jump survived. He argued that although clearly there was doping and probably still is, the main factor was that the better athletes were no longer attracted to athletics financially , as football, basketball etc attracted the best sports people and so those competing in athletics were not the best , these days.

Good athletes can do well and achieve whatever their chosen sport, they just need to find the sport that gives them the buzz to go for it as a professional

Lets hope that is Hannah.

Hannah 5-2 up in the final set - it's there for the taking. Serving now for the match. Oh wow - saved break points with amazing serving - won 6-2. You can't keep that talent under wraps - amazing Hannah.

Just awesome tennis when she needed to

Served her way out of trouble whenever she was in difficulty

Interesting that there are quite a few of the other players watching in the stands - their first time to see Hannah - they've obviously heard a lot about her and wanted to see her play

Whilst I'd agree with the idea that better athletes are attracted to other sports, particularly Americans, I don't think that is the case with Jonathans record. I remember watching that at the time and it looked special then, completely effortless. I'd put that record in the same category as Usain Bolts, just sheer perfection that will take a once in a generation athlete to come along and better it.

What an extraordinary week. Dart, Miyazaki and Swan all out in the second round, and Banks, Klugman and Jones through to the quarterfinals.

Huge points on offer, and a much weaker event than last year (only one Top 100 player), so it feels like an opportunity missed for some. Dart's actually won quite a few matches since the US Open but has been stuck around 140 for 6 months. Sadly Miyazaki's only won one match since the US Open.

Let's hope that one of the Brits can upset the odds tomorrow.
