Not official but looks certain a new Masters 1000 event will take place in Saudi starting January 2025

Confirmed that Newport on grass and Atlanta on hard are gone, and Dallas is now a 500 event. Between Wimbledon and US Open, just 4 hardcourts events after next season (the last for Newport and Atlanta) in Washington , Canada, Cinci and Winston Salem. The two masters events are moving to 10 day events

Sort of linked - a few stories like this from journos flying around along lines of:

- slams will acquire the masters series events plus add one in Saudi and create a new super tour (14 events) with atp and WTA running the 500/250 level as a second tier
- ATP merging with WTA and creating an F1 style circuit of tournies , with slams outside.

Both would end up in a top tier of 14 or so events as a separate tour or circuit for the top 100 or so players.
