Heather came here off the back of a shoulder injury.

In interviews after their R1 matches Heather and Harriet were sounding very relaxed.

Harriet breaks to love to in 6-3 6-4. In the final she will face unseeded Knutson.

Knutson is on a bit of a roll. She is at a CH and has already knocked out two seeds and Eden, after Eden beat the top seed so it probably won't be as easy for Harriet as it looks on paper.

By my reckoning this will take Heather to GB #3 behind Maia and Naiktha

But with Cluj next week all may well change again !

Lovely result for Heather who looked so happy in the interview I saw. She always plays so much better when she's happy. Great that she and Harriet both seem to be finding some form before the BJK Cup.

Gabby Knutson (formerly at Durham Uni) was ranked at a CH of 762 in April 22. Huge ranking improvement since she became full-time.

While we've all been getting excited about Hannah, Harriet has sadly been thrashed 6-4 6-1 by Knutson. A disappointing end to an encouraging week.
