RE: October 2023 Player of the Month Nominations thread

Men I think

To end of September , the nominations over the year have totalled 90 for men and 51 for women. Running at roughly 16 a month, roughly 10-6 each month have been for men. If we add in this month it becomes 94 to 58. So 60 percent of nominations are for men. Which surprised me in fact, that men had so many more over the season.

Remember, anyone who is a board member can nominate any player, at any time (before Sunday evening) for any reason (although put a reason down please, nothing is right or wrong!) so feel free to go ahead as the play moves into the weekend and players start to achieve things!

The list we have already is strong but anyone can come through - the player doesnt need to be stronger than the rest listed, simply someone you feel is deserving of the shout out and to go forward to the chance to be Player of the Month in the subsequent vote (which will be posted Sunday night).

So go ahead if you want to add someone - just take the latest list above, cut and paste it or simply use the quote button, and then add your nominee to the list with the reason why!! Simples!!

I assumed so! Theres definitely one of the men in Glasgow also who should probably get in here depending on the weekend and the mens doubles are lining up if the weekend goes their way. And you cant discount the womens doubles to throw someone up also! Plus the wheelchair event in Barca is worth keeping an eye on, and who knows re the juniors !

As much as I'd like to make Olivia Gadecki an honourary Brit and nominate her for being the partner of 3, possibly 4, of British women's Doubles winners this month I don't think that meets the rules.

Much as I appreciate Olivia's efforts to help our girls over recent weeks, I'd really like to see Maia win today in her home tournament, and keep pushing up the rankings
