Thanks Bob , I was tempted but thought Id leave it to see if you came to the board this evening !
Thanks Jon and Emmsie. Not around much this month as I have a lot of commitments but still try and pop in occasionally.
No worries - there is a lot of tennis coming to Spain in the next few weeks with various year end events in Davis Cup, BJK Cup etc, hope you get along to see something, DC at least!
And so long as you are here to vote in October Player of the Month, that is key!!

Hoping to make DC but things are really up in the air work wise at the moment and there is a possibility I may have to morph into Bob in Brazil again on that week.
If I go to DC, it's going to be a last minute decision.
1 Freya Peet - born in 2008 - has just won the J100 singles title in Botswana (having won the J60 singles title last week). She was about JWR 1300 two weeks ago, and beat the 3rd seed, ranked 344 today.
2 Sam Murray - returning to competitive tennis after maternity leave, winning the W25 doubles title (with Olivia Gadecki from Australia) in her first tournament back.
3 Felix Gill for winning the 25K in Zaragoza. "The biggest singles title of his career so far! - his 3rd ITF World Tour singles title, the other two being at M15 level" As per Steven on Twitter
4 Arthur Fery - for reaching the final of the Challenger 100 Open de Vendee, as a qualifier and beating David Goffin along the way, his first challenger final. Enters the top 300 in the process.
5. Billy Harris - for taking out WR 42 and former Top 10 player Roberto Bautista Agut in Malaga for a Career Best ranking scalp and guaranteeing himself a new CH ranking in the process.
Just realised the list had got left behind with the chat!
I don't usually nominate players for W15 titles, but I think this time Abigail deserves a nomination.
Nomination - October 2023

a week and a half left in this month now, I think we have a good little group so far and sometimes the smaller groups in a month end up being more interesting; still plenty of time for it to grow as a list though - if you have a nomination, please add it to the list above (post by The Addict 2 days ago) and add a reason for the nomination as well. Nominations will close Sunday 29th.
