I was wondering who Em was with this week, as she wasn't on the advance entry list

And they are seeded 3

Em was on the Alts list for singles and then withdrew shortly before the draw so I did wonder if she would appear in the doubles or whether she was taking time out.

Astra is getting a MTO. She's been struggling with her serve (broken twice) and lying in the ground getting a lot of manipulation work done, but can't quite tell if it's shoulder/back/hip

4-5*

Ugh. Really feel for Em. She was actually playing pretty well, especially in the opening couple of games she looked so sharp, but Astra couldn't serve and was making so many mistakes, and after double faulting to be broken for the third time the Australian calls it a day at 4-6 0-3*

Real shame
