From another forum, and thanks to someone called Andy, it seems that Hannah Klguman can only use one more ITF/WTA tour WC as a 14yo under AERs, having used her other two at Nottingham and Ilkley.
So the question is whether she'd prefer to use it for Shrewsbury or Glasgow. She's into the qualis in Shrewsbury already, but is miles out of Glasgow (and I believe the withdrawal deadline has passed). So it would make some sense to turn down a WC next week (which I'm A1 sure she'd get if she wants one) and use the WC for Glasgow. Or take advantage of a pretty weak 100k field and throw caution to the wind and use the MD WC here? Remembering that she's got the Billie Jean King Juniors CUp coming at the start of November.
When is Hannah past 14? Does a whole new batch of wild card opps kick in after she hits 15?
That poster is wrong. She has 2 WCs remaining before her 15th birthday. Age Eligibility Rules only apply for events they get WTA ranking points at. As Hannah lost in Q1 at Ilkley she didn't get any WTA ranking points so as far as AER are concerned, she didn't play Ilkley.
Furthermore, if Ilkley had counted as an AER event, she wouldn't have been able to play Glasgow regardless of whether she takes a WC in Shrewsbury as AER only allow her to play 3 events at 60k and above, which when you include Wimbledon she would have played.
Edit: actually, the rules specify no more than 3 ITF WTT events at 60k and above, so I might be wrong in including Wimbledon.

I'm not on the other forum so maybe the other poster will come over here some time and read yours above
Either way, I guess we'll know about Shrewsbury soon enough (I'm still going for Hannah to get a MD WC - but the calculations of eligibility are not straight-forward!)
That'll be a nice attraction for the event - and Shrewsbury is a great club, so pleased for them....
They tend to get decent crowds from memory as well at Shrewsbury? The event feels much more like a French challenger or pro event than the usual soulless British ones!
In doubles in Cluj are Barnett & Nicholls, Ali Collins (with Andrea Gamiz) and Maia Lumsden (with Jessika Ponchet)
Where do you find this information ? The WTA doesn't post it until the last possible minute and searching around for tournament websites rarely works either. Darts used to be great but doesn't cover the women anymore.

Darts doesn't cover the Women because they also couldn't get the information. The blame for that lies squarely with the WTA and their desire to keep their entry lists a complete secret.

Absolutely but it would still be fascinating to find where Lambda, the boards detective agency, finds entry list information like this. Is there a single resource or is it a case of just sleuthing around ! We need to know!

It was on the tournament facebook. It's very odd that they post more info on there than the website.
I've also since seen on a Romanian site that added to those, Jodie is playing with Jil Teichmann.
