I was wondering what had happened. Did anyone see it?

Another GB player suffering from a Davis Cup hangover?

Get that for Dan, he played his socks off last weekend, but Andy had a rest since Friday last week in effect

Wow, stands completely packed for Jamies doubles QF vs the Chinese pair on a side court. Well over a 1000 people there. This proves having the early(ish) rounds of a tournament run over a weekend works quite well, instead of what normally happens is you get to a weekend and its just a one court setup.

For me, the perfect schedule would be start tournament on Saturday, and then the later rounds played mostly on an evening concluding with a Friday final. This would also work quite nicely for TV as the finals doesnt clash with an over saturated market with football and other team sports being played on a weekend, plus people just naturally being more out and about.

Doubles here v interesting- Jamie and Michael could go top 8 and a possible tour finals place. Theyre currently live 12 th. But the pairs in 10th and 11th we both also left in the semis so it will be very interesting!

They have to be top 7 to make the finals, which is a further 500+ points.

Ah of course because Hijikata and Kublers win, forgot that. Still with a couple of 1000 events (Shanghai and Paris) and 3 weeks of 500 events (Beijing, Tokyo, Vienna/Basel) to come, it will put them in the mix with a title here?
