Just Liam's luck!  no

All change in the main draw:  Humbert now plays a qualifier, while Liam is promoted to ninth seed:

L32:  Maxime Cressy (USA) WR 126 (CH = 31 last August) vs (9) Liam Broady WR 104

Not sure how much of an improvement that is.

And there I was thinking it was time to leave the Star Trek jokes behind.

Good luck Billy.

Just wondering if after last night's disappointment for the French team in DC, Monsieur Humbert might feel like a rest.

Makes no odds to Liam, as he now plays Cressy (who has just won tournament in Rennes)

3rd time lucky for Liam? Creesy replaced by a LL

Edit

Not quite as I thought, but at least Liam has avoided Humbert (and Cressy)

A QF may just be enough to sneak into the Top 100 but it would be heavily dependent on other results. A SF would almost certainly do it. The points gain would jump him above 6 players, 3 of whom are not playing this week. So it would take several players below him to make their respective finals to deny him.

Billy incredibly saved 4 match points in a row and then a 5th in the 2nd set tie break and won it and is now 2 breaks up in the final set *4-1

No doubt inspired by having been a hitting partner at the DC last week.  Just following the Dan/Neal example.

What's the betting he gets Liam in the main draw?
