Well done to him despite losing the final. I have followed Liam for years and not everyone can become a Andy Murray or Novak Djokovic. But Liam has stuck at it, worked his butt off and now is finally rewarded with a place in the top 100. In today's tennis world top 100 is a massive achievement in my opinion. Congratulations Liam. Now believe you can go higher.

Perhaps it is only the longer serving members on here who will understand why I keep saying this
Agree with you Bob - it would be a good place to be if I've understood correctly
My hashtag started as #20JamesWards a few years back. There was a of of discussion going on around the LTA about finding the next Andy Murray. My argument was that they needed to give more support to those a little further down the tree and if they had a lot more players in the 100-200 range, the next Andy Murray would find THEM.
So in a nutshell, my argument was if they focus on finding and funding 20 James Wards, the next AM would come out of that pack. I just felt that they were putting all their eggs in just one or two baskets far too quickly and writing people off too young. To an extent, I still believe that. Some people mature much later as tennis players. Billy and Ryan are other examples. With more help early on, could they have made it into the Top 100/Top 200 ?
So with this next generation of players, my #20JamesWards has morphed into #20LiamBroadys
