Just for general interest, Panna is the older sister of Luca, the talented youngster who just beat Sonay in Czech Rep.

I've seen Panna a few times and I'm not overly impressed, so hopefully Harriet can pull it off.

Harriet posted on insta how humid it is in Tokyo. Hope it doesnt affect her too much in the match.

Could be a great chance for some wins, ranking points and confidence this week.

Harriet now one set all against Udvardy, but if she's going to win this she needs to start serving a lot better. Just 38% of first serves in so far.

A good win, all things considered

Very solid win for Harriet in the grand scheme of things.

I think she would have been happy with that final set performance from 1-3* down. Very solid, backhand got better the whole match - winners firing down the line in the last few games. Confidence going into tomorrows match, she needs a good week here for a decent end to the season.

Ahhh, thanks for that CD, I'd been wondering where I'd heard the surname before.

Oh dear. I was a little surprised she was scheduled first on given she was last to finish yesterday, but that can't be an excuse.
