Hes got himself on an even keel now , 3-2 second set after Rublev got that early jump in the opener. Jack desperate to prove hes of this level Id say, quite tense and tight in the opener, relaxed now.

Not sure if roof still closed , it was hot in there earlier, not sure if its remaining closed?

What a weird set. Rublev only lost 4 points on serve and lost it 6-3!

Carlos Alcaraz playing like a demon in the Arthur Ashe Stadium 6-3,6-3, 3-2. i Think it's going to be a repeat of the Wimbledon final but I don't mind that as long as they keep giving us such brilliant match ups. I don't see any reason why Jack cannot make the semi finals though.

Jack is a really class prospect. I was watching Evo against Alcaraz and much as I love Evo and what he has done, he just lacks power to get much higher.

Jack has power in abundance and talent and that will take him a long way. Top 20 by French Open and top 10 by next US Open. And Ill tip him for a slam in his career.

 I agree you know you can see it's there if his body holds up.

For the moment though bloody annoyed he's given that break back to Rublev! Still, it's even, back on serve.

Gorgeous Jack is a wonderful talent . If he can have more luck with injuries hes surely destined for the top 10.

Rublev breaks again for 5-3. The commentary keep saying that Jack looks exhausted, that he's not been playing enough due to the injuries. Shame.
