That's two sets in a row where de Jong has done all the hard work, played well, got the break back, got to 5-5 .... and then thrown in a pretty lame game and got broken

Served that out really well

And Liam is cracked up - he's convinced de Jong's ball was in - but automatic linecall said 'out'

Was De Jong joking at the net or did he refuse to shake hands properly?

Good to see Liam get the job done. Hopefully he can qualify tomorrow. Also big ranking point wise. Currently on 16 will be 35 for getting to round 1.

Shimabukuro ruthlessly perforated Liam at Nottingham just a few months ago, but lets see if Liam can turn it on its head tomorrow

They were both laughing and just fist-bumped, from what I saw

Laughing about that last ball, and exchanged some joke about it

It all seemed very mate-y to me - far more mate-y than most matches
