I assumed Samuel and Monday would be at Uni at this time. Have they finished/turned pro?

Monday is still on the roster. I wonder if he has taken a semester off.
Toby doesn't seem to be on the roster for this year. Has he changed college or turned pro?

Toby and Johannus both have the ATP Collegiate Accelerator Programme WCs to use. So going to be tempting to go pro now and use them. Staying on for another year or two at college you might not finish high enough in the collegiate rankings to get the same WCs.

Have Miyazaki and Bains been upgraded as I don't see them in the qualifying draw for Tokyo?

Both showing in the withdrawals list on the itf site, not sure what that means, is a withdrawal always a withdrawal?

Probably just late withdrawals, although Lily might have a wild card - unlikely though.

IIRC Lily said in her R2 press conference she'd probably withdraw and concentrate on Osaka the following week,

You don't withdraw from qualifying and incur a fine for doing so, if you have a wild card to the main draw. Even more so when you're only 3 out of the main draw and there's a chance you'd get in directly. Indeed, had Lily not withdrawn she'd be in the main draw without need of a wild card.

I expect Freya and Ali are entered for the doubles - but I'll have to wait for the draw tobe published.
