Just catching up with what's going on at Aldershot and I see Katy and Amelia are on court 7 which isn't streamed whilst 2 peskies are available to view on court 3. Who makes these decisions? (rhetorical question of course!) Katy is a set up and it's 2-2 in the second.

Top seed Rodionova has been replaced by LL Belgraver, which leaves Emily App the only seed in her section - though she may have to get past Bolkvadze in R2, who has handed out 6 bagels in 7 matches since coming back from a long layoff 2 weeks ago. But a long way to go yet...

Danielle beats Emily in 3...very much deserved. Danielle was dictating all the time, playing great angles with lots of pace and accuracy; Emily seemed like her heart wasn't in it - lots of mid-court, mid-tempo balls. Did not shake the umpire's hand at the end so obviously something had upset her there too, but didn't see anything.

4 out of 12 is a slight disappointment, but Marni and Katy are capable of going deep.
