 He was hitting red balls with Emma at the NTC last week, so it seems unlikely he'll be heading for the States any time soon.

Ryan P is only 7 off qualies for Winston Salem currently. As the field thins out, he may get in - given he has little chance of a US Open QUalies place, this may be a good route to him to get some points in a weakened field?

 Ryan now in qualies (although of course he might still be in Canada).

Shame George didn't originally enter Chinese challenger, probably would have been seeded. Instead will have to go through qualifying

In fact Ryan is listed 10th in qualies on current ranking, so could even make the seedings if anyone else withdraws (2 more to be precise?).

As you say, Seagull, he may progress in the Canadian event, but at least his options are positive ones. When would he need to be out of Canada to play W-S, out by end of tomorrow/Friday?
