Week 31 - WTA250 - Prague, Czech Republic Hard

QF:- Nao Hibino (JPN) / Oksana Kalashnikova (GEO) CR249 (196+53) def Andrea Gamiz (VEN) & Heather Watson CR 265 (82+183) 6-4 3-6 10-7

Feels like our girls have missed an opportunity for big points this week, with just two pairs winning one match each - and no seeds reaching the semifinals.

QF:- (2) Alicia Barnett & Olivia Nicholls CR 145 (72+73) LOST TO Quinn Gleason & Elixane Lechemia (USA/FRA) CR 288 (149+139) 5-7 5-7

Still haven't quite regained their form from earlier in the season. Too may errors ......... and not taking their chances

A missed opportunity given the relatively weak field, perhaps the rain delay didn't help.

The rain was the same for everyone though, need to be able to deal with these things as part of the game

A nice moment for Queen of the Lucky Losers, Nao Hibino, who finally took advantage of one of her many LL slots to win the title here and end a very lean period in her career.

She'll be comfortably back inside the Top 100 so won't need a LL spot in a Grand Slam...after the upcoming US Open anyway, where she'll have to try and qualify on her old ranking.
