Better to lose 3 & 4 to Wickmayer than win and have your confidence knocked back again by Swiatek in the SF !
Think Heather would prefer the points. Anyway, she'll have another chance in Prague next week. Needs to take advantage of unexpected main draw entries.

Well no surprise that Swiatek won the tournament, beating Siegemund 0 & 1, although Siegemund did have two very long three set matches yesterday.
Was anyone else watching on Prime and heard the lovely chat between Heather and Yanina before the ceremony? Heather was saying how she loves the winning feeling and they were saying thats what keeps them out there. Also her first week with her new coach Tony, Instagram shows its Tony Baldellou-Esteva who used to coach Kaja Juva.

Thanks re new coach, that had passed me by
I thought Heather was playing very well, aggressive from the return of serve, playing on the backhand side and keeping her crosscourts nice and deep and angled, and then hitting a few stunners down the line as the net player in black was very skilful at poaching. Indeed, for the deuce-receiver-choice points that I saw, they chose Hev to be the returner. If that aggressivity was thanks to the new coach, then good !
