Turning it round in the final set though! Go on Dan. If he wins this, what a result for GB, Aussies are probably group favourites?

BBC saying Dan has a hamstring problem and adm is fighting back. Maybe Dan will give way to Andy in doubles ? Whatever the score line here . Getting edgy now !

 I would have said GB was, with the home advantage Helen refers to, but still tough matches today that had to be won.

Now, I loved the home and way element of the original format and the gladiatorial element of just the two teams battling over 5 matches. But it's all rather different in this group stuff with one team at home and little travelling support for the away teams.

I guess we need one group team at home for anyone much to turn up to any of the matches.

Question Dan going straight into doubles , but I suppose you can say he's well warmed up !

FWIW Neither nor - either or was drummed into me as a kid. So I don't think its incorrect just archaic.

Re the thread title, surely the Davis Cup Finals are in Malaga in November. Not sure what this stage is officially called - I'll resist putting forward a suggestion.
