Both of Jodie's potential next round opponents around the 400 rank mark. Should be comfortable and gives Jodie a very good chance of reaching the top 90.

Jodie is 30 points adrift of WR90 according to OER. Her 13 points for today's win only matches her lowest counter, so no improvement at the moment. She needs to reach the SF and get the 50 points, but the title would jump her up quite a few more places - possibly as high as WR77

I dont have a benchmark but for what is effectively the same level as a mens challenger, is it quite a weak entry for this event?
There are two WTA 250 events (both clay), one WTA 125 (clay), two ITF 100Ks (hard) and two 60Ks (one hard, one clay) on this week, so far more choice than usual for players ranked 80 to 200, that you would usually expect to see in 100K events. Also some players will be taking a break after Wimbledon.
The scheduling of 100K events is a bit weird. None in Jan, Feb or March. Two in April, both in the same week. 4 in May, one week with two events. June two. July three, two in one week, August two both in the same week. In several weeks there is a WTA 125 and two ITF 100Ks so perhaps a modest field in a 100K event is not that uncommon.
