The main draw for both WTA250s and the WTA125 have all been out for several hours but have yet to appear on the WTA website. It has never worked well and every reincarnation seems worse than the previous one. Why is the WTA so incapable of getting it working?

In addition, why are there so many ridiculous little bugs?

Vondrousova s page says she's 5ft6. And underneath in smaller figures: 1.72m

Now, that error shouldn't be possible. The conversion should be automatic.

And the singles doubles button is coded wrong.

If I hit singles repeatedly it scrolls though, alternating the singles and doubles ranking. If you hit singles, it should just show singles

the list of bugs is endless

As well as bigger functionality problems

The main singles draw is available via tnnslive.com (no Brits) but no doubles draw as yet.

Still no doubles draw on the WTA website, so I looked elsewhere

L16:- Freya Christie (GBR) / Ali Collins (GBR) CR222 (111+111) v Nadia Podoroska (ARG) / Kamilla Rakhimova (***) CR385 (240+145)

Winners may well play the top seeds.

I think Podoroska is Argentinian, not Russian or Belarussian ;) In fact, Wikipedia says she is of Ukrainian descent! And, also, openly lesbian. (Apropos of nothing, just always good to know that more players are coming out).

You are right. The site I took the draw from didn't show her nationality so I wrongly assumed. Now corrected.

Anyone see this

twitter.com/josemorgado/status/1681401677268566024

Zhang disputed a call, umpire ignored her, local player Toth wipes out the mark showing Zhang was right. Zhang complains and then withdraws in dispute, Toth and the crowd celebrate like its the Fed Cup or something

Terrible

This girl Toth seems to lack a radar. Slowly causing herself more trouble and dislike. Not good

She rubbed out the mark 2 points after the umpire had ruled on the call though. Not nice to celebrate a retirement like that sure, but it was the umpires bad call and Zhang's constant moaning about it for multiple points thereafter that are just as bad.

ok, to be fair, the two points later part had passed me by and it does change the optics slightly on it all. Thanks for letting me know that.

The Chinese player seems to be in a bad place having lost for so many months. Calls go against you in tennis and you have to learn to forget about them

when the decision has been made and carry on playing.

Well, the WTA are looking into it. Into Toth's actions.

She has finally apologised (with a very scripted apology but she's young, it's understandable):

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-12321891/Amarissa-Toth-claims-never-intention-disrespect-Zhang-Shaui-Hungarian-tennis-player-apologies-controversial-actions-led-opponents-panic-attack.html

And into the Hungarian federation's response - being investigated for 'racism'

www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/tennis/wta-to-investigate-unfortunate-hungarian-incident-we-have-zero-tolerance-for-racism/ar-AA1e77T8

And I note the Toth lost :)
