Sorry - I have been distracted. I shall blame Andy Murray for that one.

1. Katie Boulter - for reaching the 3rd round of Wimbledon in successive years, number 1, top 100, AE to US Open.

2. Liam Broady - Showing true Manchester grit and reaching rd 2 of Wimbledon.

3. Andy Murray - For reaching the second round of a grand slam with a metal hip in two successive tournaments.

I am sorry if I have got this wrong! Just learning.

No worries and thanks for doing it!

Tidying up for JonH

1 - Jan Choinski - for winning his first ATP level match, at Wimbledon and beating a player in the top 60, about 100 places higher in ranking

2 - Jodie Burrage - for reaching Wimbledon rd2 and possibly getting a top 100 ranking at the next update.

3. - Liam Broady - for reaching R3 of Wimbledon and beating the world no 4 to get there.

4. - Katie Boulter - for reaching the 3rd round of Wimbledon in successive years, number 1, top 100, AE to US Open.

Thanks TA - I think Andy snuck in as well but in my phone it wont let me format it when I cut and paste - if anyone could add him in as well, much appreciated !

Several doubles players - Jonny/Liv, Maia/Naiktha, Neal, Jamie at business end of Wimbledon, good for them.

Juniors - 5 left in singles boys and girls , more in doubles (some in both)

Wheelchairs - start today singles and doubles to come.

Getting interesting in week 2 thought process?!

Today we have at Wimbledon a mens doubles final, wheelchair mens doubles final, junior boys singles semi, junior girls doubles semi and a mens wheelchair singles brace of semis. And a Nottingham M25 singles final.

Decent day in British tennis Id say. Its not all about the mens and womens singles- some players will make their careers today in these other big matches

Nice list developing - lets hope some more make it tomorrow; certainly Alfie and Gordon , Alfie on his own. The junior girls doubles and under 14s?

Ill dwell on Alfie and Alfie/Gordon after tomorrows matches!
