Qualies draw is out but no Brits. It's stuffed full of Greeks though as you'd expect.
Main draw should be out tomorrow. Luke Bourgeois isn't playing so the top 4 should be Baker, Loglo, Goodall and yours truly. Irwizza and May are also playing.
Loglo's top 400 but he's not reached the latter stages for F1 or F2 here in Greece.
The courts here are very fast which is good for me. It's also very hot - well 20-25 degrees which is not particularly hot by Med standards but for a Yorkshire man, it's boiling !
Thanks for your posts Johnny, it has been been tough getting any information at all out of Greece!
If you ever fancy writing the occasional bloggish parapraph, perhaps something akin to the blog on the ATP site, I am sure we'd all be interested. News, opinion and insight are very much lacking at Futures and challenger level. Anyway, good luck in F3!
The Brits could end up knocking each other out again here, with 5/6 in the top half of the draw (albeit one less than last week!), including 4 in the 2nd quarter.
R1: (1) Jamie Baker WR 309 v Stephen Moros (USA) WR 1356 R1: (4) Jonny Marray WR 477 v Amir Weintraue (ISR) WR 838 R1: Jim May WR 731 v (Q) Alex Platevoet (BEL) UNR (winner to play winner of the match below) R1: (6) Neil Bamford WR 614 v Richard Irwin WR 764 R1: (3) Josh Goodall WR 427 v Alexander Jakupovic WR 972
Btw Josh beat Jakupovic 1 & 1 two weeks ago, but Jamie Baker had a much closer match against him last week. Richard beat Platevoet last week so hopefully Jim can too!

Very good draw for Baker, hopefully he can finally capitalise and go far this week. A semi against Marray would be really great. Jamie really needs to make the final here to have any chance of getting into the top 275. However, having said that, the LTA are impressed with Jamie achievements over the last year and I'm pretty sure he'll get a wc regardless.
Good draw for Jonny, hopefully he can continue clocking up the points. He's back in the top 450 now.
I reckon Bammy will beat Irwin in straights, they both play a similar game, Bammy just plays it better. Jim May has struggled so far in Greece, he's got a great chance of securing his 1st win of this mini-tour.
R1: (1) Jamie Baker WR 307 beat Stephen Moros (USA) WR 1362 by 7-6(4) 7-6 R1: Jim May WR 727 beat (Q) Alex Platevoet (BEL) UNR by 4 & 2 R1: (6) Neil Bamford WR 577 beat Richard Irwin WR 763 by 6-4 1-6 7-5
Jamie made heavy weather (again) of beating a player ranked more than 1000 places below him, but at least he got through, and should have another easily winnable match next. Good to see Jim get a point from this Greek trip at last, it also ensures that there will be at least one quarter-finalist, with the winner of Bamford v May to play Jonny Marray in the QFs if he gets that far.
Josh and Jonny play their R1 matches on Tuesday.
R2: (1) Jamie Baker WR 307 v Gojowczyk or Serkedakis (WR 1200+/UNR) R2: (6) Neil Bamford WR 577 v Jim May WR 727
Btw I don't know if Jonny did get his kicking boots out after reading my post on the Greece F2 thread about slow results (I'm guessing he hasn't even looked at the board again yet), but these were about the first Futures main draw results to appear on tenniseurope today!

Yes, it will take a bit of finding though. He teased us all a lot for quite a while, and nobody believed him for some time - but it definitely is Marray, it has been proved now.
Aaaaaargh - a 'Kalamatous' day for last week's winner if ever there was one. Too much time in the tavernas or wot ... (well ok, probably not, but it's a horrible follow up to last week's glory)
R1: (4) Jonny Marray WR 476 lost to Amir Weintraub (ISR) WR 820 by 3 & 4 R1: (3) Josh Goodall WR 414 beat Alexander Jakupovic (GRE) WR 1003 by 6-3 7-6(4) ... but having beaten him 1 & 1 two weeks ago.
R2: (1) Jamie Baker WR 307 v Peter Gojowczyk (GER)WR 1212 R2: (6) Neil Bamford WR 577 v Jim May WR 727 R2: (3) Josh Goodall WR 414 v James Cerretani (USA) WR 842
