WHAT A HOLD! Bains played some beautiful tennis that game, especially that lob. Never watched Bains before, but I'm enjoying her game in doubles.

Bains has been absolutely superb. Held the team together so well.

Really enjoyed that. Great win.

Another win here would put them into US Open entry positions Id guess. Easier said than done. Great week(s) for them.

Probably Heather in 2018?

She reached the QF with Tatjana Maria. They did have a w/o in the L16 though.

Ohh wow! That passed me by, I thought it hadn't happened since I started following tennis. Regardless huge result for both, incredible points and a pretty decent looking pay packet.

Enjoyed watching that match from Bains and Lumsden.
Bains played some superb tennis. She was deffinately the better player of the two Brits and held them together.
Fantastic to know they will crack the top 100 now.

Overall the draw is pretty wide open for this stage of a slam. More non seeds than seeds remain.

Incredible stuff. Sometimes it's just worth giving the opportunity, you never know when it might suddenly click into place.

Thrilled for them.
