Fantastic win for Katie, so pleased to see her winning such plaudits. Also a genuinely lovely person from what people who know her far better than I say.
Only downside was seeing her tapping her head after match point, in an incident which must have had Harriet scowling into her clipboard and tutting most severely at the unprofessional antics.
Great to see Katie fulfilling some of the potential she's always had but rarely got to show because of injury, has also consolidated her position as British no.1 in Emma's absence. She can swing freely now against the defending champion in the next round with no expectations.
Certain to be in the US Open MD now, if she can stay fit there is a real chance to climb further during the hard court season.

Have to say RYbakina has looked a bit shaky in some of her recent games. I think she has a chance.
I'm so chuffed for Boulter, finally getting those R3 points! She played well in sets 1 and 3, controlled aggression. Very happy for her, and she comes across SOOO well. She seems quite popular on tour too, even her R1 opponent Saville congratulated her on social (for beating her haha).
Not got much hope of the next round, but I think she's set herself up nicely for the coming months!
Just in case people were wondering, Gracheva - who's playing against Sabalenka now - is now French, having received her official naturalisation papers a couple of weeks ago in June
She previously played for Russia, having been born in Moscow
This is not war-related though, I believe - she's been living in Cannes for the last 7 years
Stevanovic into round 3 after a 7-5 7-5 win over Korpatsch in a fantastically entertaining and competitive match. A nice moment for her but also a good reminder for our girls, including the young ones who have played her this summer, that the gaps at this level are small and if you take your chances when they come you can do it.
