Reckon it will be more like 13:00 until play. By the time it stops, covers off etc

Yes. The official thing is now 12.30

And it certainly looks better there and covers off but it always takes a while...

0-4*

Kasatkina must feel like the luckiest player in the draw right now. Very nervy start from Jodie, cant find the court

Jodie doing her best to help with scheduling here. Might have time for a couple more matches on centre at this rate.

Double faults to go down 0-6. Who gets bagelled by Kasatkina?

Jodie needs to calm down or go home.

This was all a bit predictable and very unfair of the schedulers to do this to Jodie. This could absolutely crush her spirit.

The errors off puffball second serves not helping.

Looking overwhelmed, shell never have played in front of a comparable crowd to this. But even on the groundstrokes shes looking out of her depth, dropping the ball short or shanking. Kasatkina is dispatching everything. Lets hope for a more respected set #2!

 I don't agree, Paul.

It's a player's dream to play on Centre Court.

Of course she's a bit overwhelmed - but she's got what she's been dreaming of since she was a tiddler

Jodie breaks to go 2-1. Looks like a different player than in the 1st set. Just felt like a few winners would calm her down. Keep it going

Going out on centre with a sea of people all around, the bigger back drop. Must take a while to get your bearings, the range of things. I can imagine many a first set is lost at speed before someone settles down; we all know from our club level experience that new courts and surroundings need a bit of time, centre court and the like must be tough !

Nonetheless , as CD says it must be a dream realised and she needs to sort it quickly, start of second set looks promising

This tournaments is a joke. Why are roofs not on Centre and Court 1? There are what, 80+ matches today, showered forecast all afternoon. The start time on Court 1 was delayed by 40 mins whilst deciding what to do the roof. Its a ****show
