Ella getting a bit of a beat down unsurprisingly. Just shows the gulf between the good and the world class at this age, but plenty of time for her to keep improving and working if she wants it.

The short term concern may be that is that she doesn't particularly seem to have been improving this year.
But I don't know what she has been working on and certainly loads of time on her side
What is the consensus on preferred in play live tennis rankings site? I have been a live-tennis.eu devotee for some years but their recent inability to allow for qualifying points has boiled my urine one time too many. Vile conduct.

I prefer Open Era Ranjings (OER) which has several filters, a good range of dates and good breakdown of players points, drop dates etc.
I have always liked the live-tennis layout. A rather important issue though in the past was that it used to get so many things wrong and some sort of things consistently wrong, so I preferred OER for accuracy.
Over recent years I have felt live-tennis has got much better and I nowadays have much more faith in it.
Yes, any qualifying points for this.coming week's tournaments will only be due to show up along with main draw points once we move onto next week's live rankings. So for instance Jodie and Heather are correct in live-tennis ( and OER ) as still showing as 572 points and 477 points respectively for the live 26/06 rankings. May still be a little tardy even in the correct week but not due to show up yet.
OER's points breakdowns though are very useful for the women with the WTA not providing any such breakdown themselves.
Just got back from Eastbourne a little bit sunburnt I have to say!
Jodie really held it together. Got a really bad call at a crucial point in deciding tiebreak but just used her anger to win the next 3 points and match.
Putintseva looked very subdued from the start not always running balls down. Heather gave her a chance in second set but once she broke back she had had enough.
Saw final set of Ranah. Very impressive. Pasolini got a very lucky net cord at bp at 4-4 which handed her the match.

Ive always felt OER too complex for my needs and brain and, like Indy, like the lay out and ease of Live tennis. The ads on the app are a bit annoying but I dont want to pay so live with them. I dont need detail, just like to glance and assume they are right, so happy to use live tennis !
TNNS is showing Maria Garcia of Portugal as second seed?! Presumably that is an error ? Is there a Maria Garcia from Portugal who plays tennis?
There are four Maria Garcia's listed on the WTA website - two from Spain, one from Cuba and one from Portugal. But it is Caroline Garcia from France WR4 that is seeded two here behind Rybakina.
We shouldn't underestimate Osorio. Her ranking is on the rise again and she had her best ever slam result at Wimbledon. Will be a tough one for Heather.
