Unfortunately then lost five points in a row (a couple of excitable errors down the line on a couple of the SPs). She's just threw in a couple of formidable serves to hold well though.

I missed most of the tiebreak as the feed dropped out, but very impressively Hannah has taken it 7-6(4) and we're into a third. Beth also collects her bakery product.
Didn't expect Jasmine to win; Maia and Ella had outside chances but not that likely, maybe the same for Ranah
Had hoped Marni would do better than that - it's the only actually disappointing result
And great adult grass debut by young Hannah - into a third set against a woman who came through Wimbledon qualifiers and made the second round this time last year !
Hannah is doing very well but her team needs to nip some of this behaviour stuff in the bud, now. Embarrassing for a 14 year old to be getting unsportsmanlike conduct warnings ('soft' or otherwise) and totally unnecessary.
