Sonay a break up, but just tuned in to see her opponent laying at the baseline crying in pain :( Sonay quickly over to see what's wrong and physio on court.
Unfortunately for Eden, all her strengths - backhand, volley, movement, distribution - are the same as Harriet's, but Harriet does them better, with more power and fewer errors.

Funny, I see them as having very different games
Eden has such a flat shot, skims the net, goes for the lines with no margin - lots of power and nice technique but because there's no margin and her micro-footwork is not great, she breaks down very easily. A little top spin would keep the ball in when they all fly long.
Harriet is far more of a scuttler, better micro-footwork, uses power when she can but more spin, so more control.

You're right - they're quite different in many respects, I just mean that what is usually a benefit for Eden is cancelled out by Harriet also having that strength. It's funny, I never see Eden as powerful - but I've only ever seen her on dodgy streams, so perhaps I am not well placed to judge!
It's interesting .... it seems to me that Eden gets a lot of speed on her ball - it whizzes through the court - if you're live with her, it just pings off the racket - which might not be power as such - maybe more that it's such a flat shot, it travels so fast.
But I do find her frustrating - her risk reward is all over the place..
Arango looking lost on the grass. Thought she'd be a little sharper after her win over Yastremska but this is good, controlled attacking tennis from Emily.
Saves the break point to take the set
Heather had no problems with Amelia which is really how it should be. And good to see her pick up a couple of wins.
