Katie's first serve percentage is the difference between the two, winning almost every point when she gets it in. - Heather is playing really well, far better than I have seen her play for some time.

Heather comes storming back, returning with a vengeance, a break, two holds, 3-0 up, four break points to go 5-1 but she cannot convert and then in the next game Katie breaks back.

A fascinating struggle between these two. Katie now serving for 4 all.

I'd watch them play each other again for sure. Great match.

Katie just had that bit more finesse and cool thinking on the big points.

Keenly fought match, big respect for Watson who really committed to her shots, and at times defended brilliantly. Boulter just that bit more solid at the end of both sets, and hit some magnificent forcing shots to really push Watson out wide. Really good to see both players playing so well.

Katie B made the top 100 for the first time on 15 October 2018 and didn't drop out until 13 May 2019. I think you meant Katie S who hasn't quite made it yet.

 Of course !!! Darn - I was getting all excited for nothing .... Katie B's moment is already chalked up

I've not seen Jodie play many times but I know I wasn't expecting her to raise her game like this!

Like most people on this forum I expected her to be swept away by Alizé instead it's Jodie who has risen to the occasion and Alizé who has wilted in the first set.

Now all she has to do is do it all over again!

Come on Jodie!
