There is a wealth of info in the WTA media notes. To pick out a few interesting bits.
Heather has played 5h 17min on court this week. It will be her 4th grass SF at WTA tour level. It will be her 9th match against a GB player, and has won 3 and lost 5 to date. She has won 9 matches against WCs and lost 7. Its her 12th SF, having won 5 and lost 6. Heather is the first ever qualifier to make it to the SF in Nottingham.
Katie has played 4hr 53min on court. She has yet to lose to a GB player at tour level, having won all 3 of her previous matches against a GB player (2 of those this week).
Jodie has played 6hr 54min on court (1hr 08mins more than Cornet). Has won 9 and lost 13 matches against top 100 players in her career (including a couple of ITFs)
This is the first time three British women have made the SF of a Tour level event since 1975 Paris, an indoors event. (Wade, Barker and Coles)

I really do not like Harriet Dart, no class at all and questions calls a pre-pubescent junior would not challenge.

Mr.Moderator, how does the post above not break message board rules?
Unfortunately, it appears the baying Twitter mob have sniffed out a bit of controversy, and see it as yet another opportunity to spread their hate on the world, from behind the sofa.
I'm sorry, foobarbaz, but I don't see the major problem? Several people have said they find Harriet to be sulky or grumpy on court. Mark says he doesn't like her. I agree that she does question a lot of linecalls that are perfectly fine. I wouldn't quite phrase it the same way and I'm not saying I agree but, just me, I have no problem with Mark's post

just watched the highlights on the BBC of all 3 of these matches:
- Heather, just knew how to move so much better than Golubic, she had grass movement to a tee; beautiful lob, Murray-esque, near the end! - Jodie - used the court well, drop shotted, volleyed, moved her opponent round - confident final set. -Katie v Harriet - Katie's forehand was enormous today, is it always like that - impressive. Nothing wrong with her forehead tapping at the end, that was about herself saying she had toughness, nothing to do with Harriet and Harriet was too touchy by far; it wasnt unprofessional at all and anyone saying Harriet had a point needs to watch the end of the highlights again.
Katie v Heather will be a very interesting match - Katie will win and play Cornet in the final, I would reckon. Hope all of them, incl Harriet, are in Birmingham, I see Katie Swan has gone to Italy and the grass 125 event there
JonH, In my earlier comment where I answered Grachka's question, I tried to be even-handed. I'm sure you are happy to see different (reasonable) viewpoints on this forum. Ultimately, it doesn't matter whether you or I think the contre-temps at the net between Dart and Boulter was justified or not.
Otherwise, thanks for the QF match summaries.
It's amazing how in 2 short weeks our GB women tennis players have lifted the spirits of those on this forum.

Oh really, I found the 4 words after the comma (in the post in question) to be both unnecessary and insulting.
Apologies, reading my comment back I didn't mean it to be quite as personal as it reads! I'm sure Harriet is a lovely person - she just shows no class or sportsmanship on the court making it hard for me to support her (even against non Brits)
Rushed home over an hour ago thinking I'll be just in time to catch the start of the semi-finals in Nottingham but it's been nothing but covers on, play suspended since I tuned in. Not a drop of it has fallen here in Manchester. An obvious solution is to move the whole shebang to the Northern in Didsbury.
