That wobble in the middle of the set was enough.

6-2 3-6 *0-0

Poor start to the third, broken to love. This isn't good, her level has really gone off a cliff against an opponent who's not really offering much to be in this position.

Jodie recovers and breaks back.

Goes up *30-0, plays two horrible errors, double faults, saves the break point with an ace, saves another, holds.

 In her inteview she did say:

"I'd SO like to stop playing three set matches" 

smile

But she was the more pro-active player, the better player, AND she kept it together very well, all things considered
