Harriet and Heather should win their matches - not expecting wins from the rest.

Sonay I think could pull off an upset against Kenin whose form is pretty wayward.

Bit harsh on Eden who beat Zacarias in the Surbiton Main Draw Rnd1 in 2 sets just a few days ago.

As Dodrade says, Sonay might be confident after playing well this last week.

Emily App might put up a good showing too against Katrina Scott who I think will be playing her first match on the grass this year.

Harriet beat Inglis 4 & 4 in the United Cup earlier this year.

I didn't say the others wouldn't stand a chance, just that I wasn't expecting them to win against higher ranked opponents.
Heather really ought to beat Sophie Chang - after all Em managed it last week.

I think if we get 2 wins that would be satisfactory.

Of course it might possibly be more. Which would be great.

Might be fewer too. Which wouldn't.

But two seems about right

You never know on grass if some of these higher-ranked players are coming off the clay and haven't had much practice. It seems to throw up some odd results in the early grass court season.

 definitely, I agree.

Especially at the start - you could see some of them at Surbiton qualis - straight off clay - were all over the place.

But generally they get used to it...

But, yes, love the rather random element

Sonay in danger of blowing this.

Was a set and a break up, broken back, missed three break points, broken again 3-4*

Handed that to Kenin really.

Unfortunately we've been here before.....

Would be lovely if she manages to find a way to break the trend

Great crowd at Notts qualies, good to see.

Sonay 5-4*, Sonya looking all over the place and getting cross.
