Will that mean a new CH for Kristina? She seems to be doing very well

Yes, she will be into the top 950 (  top 900 if she wins the title ) as against her CH 954 from last December.

With Amelia Rajecki winnng her QR1 in Nottingham to also enter the top 1000 that should now take us to 33 GB women in the top 1000 once Kristina's points from here get added in.

33 is the most I can ever recall and will now equal the GB men's 33 total.

How encouraging. CD has always said the bigger the pyramid base the better, so it's good to have strength in numbers. It also means more decent players to practise against and more scope to, for example, share coaches overseas to spread the cost.

We might need to wait for 33 women in the top 1000. Ranah will be dropping 19 points from Ilkley and out of the top 1000 when Kristina's points are added.

Ah, yes you are on the ball. I actually have Ranah's '"GB #26. 33 - 19 = 14 points" stats in front of me but somehow yesterday missed looking up to her. Thanks.

Shame

But Ella and Ranah should hopefully be in the top-1000 quite soon anyway

And Abi Amos is right on the cusp

I also like that our current top-1000 is very 'active' - often there are several 'drifters' - not really playing, or doing only doubles, just drifting down...

The only possible 'drifters' at the moment are Mandy Carreras (i'm not quite sure what her health situation is and, at 33, it's likely that she won't be playing much longer whatever). And possibly Katy Dunne - her injury woes seem not to be resolved.

But the others - even Beth - are all back. And seem to be playing well. It's quite a young, dynamic group.

 Kristina lost 3-6 2-6

But very good week from her and losing to the top seed, when you're unseeded yousefl, is still pretty good !
