Yes, great to see Andy rolling on.

Though as to grass supposedly being so much better than clay as a surface, it is very much a matter of opinion rather than fact as to whether grass is better than clay at all. Personally I think clay is the better surface.

Yes true , very much personal preference and I guess more of the tennis world agrees with you!

JoMo and Jake have had a MP against Liam and Jonny

But couldn't win it, and the 'old' guys have managed to just about salvage the second set

Now shoot-out time....

Final:  (WC) Jacob Fearnley & Johannus Monday UNR (0+510) defeated Liam Broady & Jonny O'Mara CR 568 (423+145) by 6-3 6-7(6) [10-7]

And the youngsters pull it off, preventing the old timers from winning their second successive title!  Jake & JoMo biggrin

What a BRILLIANT doubles match

And though I love Jonny and Liam, I was rooting like mad for the newbies

AND THEY WON !

Jonny & Liam were 5-1 up in the MTB, they had a bit of a wobble, and then the college boys were right back in it

And we have a guy who is completely unranked (and one not that far off) - and they've won the title !!!

It isn't.  You need to go to live scores on the tournament page on the ATP site & click on the "watch live" button on the right-hand side below whichever match you want to watch & that will bring it up.  That said, now that Jodie Burrage's centre court match against Alizé Cornet has finished, Andy Murray's semi-final match against Nuno Borges will be starting shortly on the BBC Red Button.

I've only seen one of Andy's matches in this tournament - the first round one against Joris De Loore - but his serve looked to be working like a dream

SF:  (WC/1) Andy Murray WR 44 defeated (3) Nuno Borges (POR) WR 73 by 3 & 2  smile

Bit of an error-strewn second set, but they all count!

*****

Final:  (WC/1) Andy Murray WR 44 vs (Q) Arthur Cazaux (FRA) WR 181 (= CH)

Cazaux beat Köpfer in straight sets.
