Mimi has been out with injury. I think it is a good sign she is as competitive as she us TBH.

Ellejah is only 14 and a player I really rate.

She's also on good form - she won the J100 in Morocco on clay two weeks ago

But she's come through qualis here, and won her R1 match, playing long, tight three setters (MTB in qualis of course) in each. She might be a bit tired. And she's a lot younger. And not really Ranah's level yet. Or - of course - she might be just on an amazing roll...

Well I cant say I am shocked that Mimi lost after such a long time away from the court. I think she did well considering. Maybe Hannah just a match too far and Ranah saving herself for RG?

A complete singles wipeout today as Oli went down too. It means Oli, Ranah and Mimi are all searching for their first win on clay this year (Oli has played a couple of tournaments before - for Ranah and Mimi it is their first. I imagine they would have played on clay, without injuries.)
