Weeks 22 & 23 - French Open (Roland-Garros) - Paris, France (clay) - DOUBLES

That was a bit before my time but I know his son James played professionally as well - he made it to 600 or so.

He was a big server - Hampshire was his county , not too far off!- but strangely clay seems to have been his most successful doubles surface with a wide range of partners. Best singles was Wimbledon 1973, the year of the boycott.

Julian and Henry did well to get the opening set, 6-3. On service it looks like in second set?

Purcell and Shelton are, on paper at least, a talented pair, a win would be very good here

Lloyd is now equal live WR 6 alongside Harri. Kudos. Got stuck at 11 for ages, then leaps up as others fall!
