Over the past 2 or 3 weeks I've been experiencing multiple freezing and crashes of my browser and background system apps on my android tablet when visiting this forum. I suspect there is something on this forum that is causing high memory usage. It only happens when I come here. I've found other activeboard forums and spent time browsing through them without issue so I don't think it is the activeboard code. I've also tried several different browsers, with it happening on all of them. If it is something specific to this forum, then the only thing I can think of is the tinypic image at the top (though I don't see why it should suddenly start causing a problem when its been there for years) . Is there anyone around that can remove it? Alternatively does anyone know of a way I can block the image? Or any other ideas on what it could be?
I was using my tablet to read the forum whilst on holiday the last couple of weeks, and haven't had any problems at all. I was using the Samsung browser.
No idea who can change the image, but I do have a copy of it somewhere that I saved some years ago.
Out of interest, I noticed late last week we had over 2000 guest visitors one day - not sure if those stats are accurate but it was a lot, seemed to fall over the weekend and its a touch over 800 it seems in the past 24 hours or so. No idea what pushed it to 2000 plus.
