both are injured, I think. Paul has been out long term now, Ali more recently and on and off. Cant remember nature of their ailments

Post from SuperT on the Paul Jubb thread on 22/03 :

"There's an interesting interview with Paul on the LTA web site. The reason we haven't seen him for a while is because he ruptured his ankle ligament soon after AO qualifying. He says recovery is now going well but it looks like it could be quite a while yet before he's fully fit."

Jubby posted on his instagram on 30th April a picture of him in a protective boot but in the same series of pictures, one of him in the gym, so hopefully he's on the road to recovery.

There's also a lovely photo of him hanging out with with Jack Draper in May. He looks very happy so, good sign?

Sonay ended up in Czechia but then withdrew. Maybe in Nottingham?

It's expected our top ladies will be playing Nottingham but since nothing but the initial main draw entry list has been published there is no confirmation of that until now.

"There's a bunch of Brits on the entry list - Jodie Burrage is just outside the main draw but has been busy practising already at the moment, as is Katie Boulter who is obviously a tournament local coming from Leicester. Harriet Dart, Katie Swan and Heather Watson they're all on the list as well, which is really exciting. I think the game styles of all the girls really suits grass." - Laura Robson, tournament director.

Arthur Fery is also in qualies at Nottingham now. The next several alts are also Brits and with 4 wildcards , we may end with a lot of qualies entries
