I don't know whether to laugh or cry

Rodionov had the BIGGEST collapse known to mankind against Lucas Pouille in FQR (see quali thread)

Bigger than any GB player ever

In fact, quite enrougaing in a way.....

And has now got into the MD as a lucky loser

Maybe the gods took pity on him.

Or maybe they just have a sick sense of humour -

Because the REALLY funny thing is that he's drawn against Lucas again !

Dom Stricker also got a LL spot, which pleases me, as I like his game, he's an interesting prospect - he won Junior RG, very impressively, and is 20 now, and ATP 116, and still very young....

Diaz Acosta (ARG) also got a LL (don't know him)

I am going for the latter.

Meanwhile, Frenchie Constant Lestienne is the story today

He's a real 'also-ran' in French tennis.

A challenger player at best

He's age 31 and has never been top-100 until this year

More controversially, he's never played MD at RG i.e. he's been 150 or so in lots of years, and the FFT have never given him a wildcard. Not once.

But this year, age 31, he's had a bit of a seachange. No idea why. Is about ATP 60 at the moment.

And now he's in RG, as of right.

And he's just taken the first set off Karen Kachenov

I've got it on the computer, no problem

Don't know if that helps...

On Discovery through Prime, I can only see a choice of 6 matches, none of which is Dan. It's such a terrible interface, and impossible to search by player name?

But he seems to have re-tweaked his left calf injury.... (which has been plaguing him very recently)

Real shame

If he doesn't get it in three, I think he'll retire (or just be on one leg)

But maybe the painkillers will kick in....

I thought Kokki played a stellar first set

Dan didn't so much wrong

But not sure K can keep it going all the time

Adn when Evo gets a bit of momentum he's on a roll

Allez, Dan !

Same here. I've got a horrible feeling that having a Firestick and done it via Prime we get limited channels. I'd love to be wrong though.....

Dan got called for a foot fault at 30-0 up

It was called by the umpire, and for an infringment of his back foot on the middle line, not the baseline

Dan then lost the game and is losing his cool slightly with the umpire
