Week 23 - ATP Challenger 125 - Lexus Surbiton Trophy - Surbiton, Great Britain (grass)

Surely going to be Dan v Andy final here especially given the draws they have.

Shame there's two LL spots and not one for a GB player

But, having sung Jay's praises yesterday, today was pretty dire - a real lack of application and tenacity. So he didn't deserve one. Arthur Féry was better, a real scrap - but he so nearly had the second set TB and just crumbled - not good. So hey....And Mark and Billy both won (cracking matches) so no LL spot needed

And nor for Harry W too who takes the biscuit for a brilliant performance, in a top quality match against PHH. He's a slightly built lad, and not too tall, but the timing he has on his pick-ups, and his service placement - PHH was screaming that he needed glasses ! A French version of 'should have gone to Specsavers' - because the balls came back so deep and so fast, that he was caught napping on so many forehands, it was driving him mad. But in a very fairplay way. Big crowd gathered. Great atmosphere. And great win for the young man. In our 2001-other-cohort, he's risen a few notches

Not sure, but you can still buy ground passes online for tomorrow. Tickets are on the phone only anyway (whole tournament is cashless as well)

I think the addict is right. You can't pay on the door, as such. But you can buy your ticket online, just before the door, stick it on the LTA app and then go in.
