Very happy to see all 5 Brits plus Venus and Svitolina.
I imagine the last wildcard will be a straight choice between Wickmayer and whoever wins Ilkley - in any case none of our 5 Brits who all deserved a place this year have missed out. If one had missed out, whoever it would have been, it would have been very harsh. Happy days, as far as I am concerned - I am particularly relieved for Katie S and Harriet, as I think if someone lost out, it would have been one of them.
Just noticed no sign of Lily anywhere - intriguing - does she have a chance of the remaining wild card place I wonder? I have just remembered though that her singles ranking ensures an automatic slot in qualifying, so probably non-story.

Good set of wild cards I think, with the final one being held to see who winners etc... are in this week's events. And as an outside shot Sonay's could be upgraded if she maybe makes the final and loses to a player already in?
I'm pleased to see the young girls in qualies, although perhaps slightly surprised two more weren't given out to the girls around the 300-350 mark (Eden and Emily A say), but means we will have a very strong pre-qualifying competition which is great.
I suspect Lissey and Liv should sneak into the draw directly when entries close on Friday, although I don't imagine the AELTC to hand out any more. Very pleased for Ali and Freya, and while thrilled for Em A like you CD I'm not convinced Jodie is the best partner for her aw if there's any risks with Jodie's ankle I'd rather she didn't play doubles at all (although to be fair her choices were fairly limited based on the criteria if they wouldn't just let her play with Lohoff, which they should have done). Obviously personally disappointed not to see EWS on there for a final hurrah but she was never going to be given she wasn't favoured when she was ranked far higher and in decent form in the past. We'll need to see who they entered with but EWS/Eden would have struck me a sensible all-GB pairing to at least be on the peripheral of the radar.

No disrespect to Jodie, but personally I think it's disappointing that they didn't allow Emily App to play with her regular partner rather than making her pair up with another Brit.
Good to have all British doubles partnerships. But there is too much emphasis as against good established pairs.
It was absolutely ridiculous the hoops Lloyd & Harri had to go through last year to get a Queen's WC ( when they had had such success together and both were top 50 ). Lloyd & Harri then went on to reach the final.
For the play-offs, Ciara Moore has earned herself a spot in play-off
But the other earned one went to Isa Lacy who doesn't need it so that's back in the pot
But there is special consideration for younsters so Ella also most certainly will be in, and maybe Hep? As the second highest youngster not laready in. BUT she's down to play in Frinton this week so maybe not...
Millie presumably gets her spot in play-offs as the top NCAA player? If she's not bumped up to QWC direct...
Womens Wild Cards.
1 wild card from winning the UK Pro League Felixstowe
1 wild card from winning the LTA British Tour Premier West Worthing
2 wild cards for the top 2 GB players on the ITF junior ranking list at 19 June having signed in (if either of the 2 highest ranked juniors have already won U18 Nationals & won a Qualifying wild card then the next highest ranked junior)
Top ranked NCAA player having signed in (subject to the player being in the NCAA top 100).
If any of the above wild cards are not required or accepted the wild card will go back to the LTA Performance Team 1 further discretionary wild card from the LTA Performance Team *
I posted the field of who would be in the play-offs if they took up their places earlier in the week. Hep isn't eligible for a junior ranking WC. Only Ella and Ranah are. If either of them had a qWC (which as we now know they don't) then only Mimi would have been able to take the junior WC. It goes back to the LTA after that.

Sorry, Lambda - I misread:
"2 wild cards for the top 2 GB players on the ITF junior ranking list at 19 June"
My bad....
Carry on, Hep - enjoy Frinton ! And get some good grass practice for Juniors
Personally I don't think Ella MacDonald deserves a QWC her form has been woeful for a considerable period. Only her age being a top Junior might sway the QWC she would be better going through the QWC play offs
