I hope this is correct. The draw was from the Tennis Forum site with my best guesses for players first names where there are two players with the same name and initial.

Peter, the TNNS app has the full qualifying draw, but it looks as if you are correct (not sure about Eden though).

Lily and Katie B in hhe same section.

Not the best draws generally, I see Olga has just won a W100K final today.

Hadn't a clue who Hruncakova was, but just Googled and it's Kuzmova, so presumably she's very recently got married.

As a side note, keep an eye out for 14 year-old Daphnee Mpetshi-Perricard.

She has a wildcard into the qualis.

She's the younger sister of 19 year-old Giovanni - who has a wildcard into the main draw

Quite a family event !

Two matches tomorrow:

Sonay's about 10:30

and Fran's about 15:00

Neither have points to defend.

Tough draws all round, Coco seems to be a bit of a bogey player for Brits in Grand Slam qualifying.

For the 7 Brits the average opponent is WR 148. Not sure if that is good or bad ?

Katie B and Lily play each other in QR2 if they both win. Unlikely I know

Can't see too much joy here. Possibly Fran and Harriet.

Just for general info, here's the wildcard list.

A big range in ages, and not too much focus on rankings, as per the FFT's normal approach:

Audrey ALBIE - Age 28 - WTA 241

Loïs BOISSON - Age 19 - WTA 495

Emeline DARTRON - Age 23 - WTA 393

Fiona FERRO - Age 26 - WTA 392

Emma LENE - Age 23 - WTA 418

Daphnée MPETSHI-PERRICARD - Age 14 - UNRANKED

Nina RADOVANOVIC - Age 19 - WTA 558

Margaux ROUVROY - Age 22 - WTA 292 - "Destination Roland-Garros" wildcard - French race

Alice TUBELLO - Age 22 ans - WTA 342

Fiona Ferro has fallen a long way from the 2020 French championships which because of Covid was held in the autumn. In the 1st round she beat  Heather and in the 2nd round beat the 14th seed and future Grand Slam champion Rybakina. She was inside the worlds top 40 then. Since then she has had problems with injury and  a case against her former coach.

Yes, and just to be clear this is not just a civil case against her coach.

He has been criminally charged with "rape of a minor by a person having authority over the victim and sexual assault of a minor over the age of 15 by a person having authority over the victim."

This is a crime in France which covers victims who are above the age of consent, and who may have indeed 'freely' consented, but where that consent is basically irellevant because the perpetrator was someone older who was abusing their position of influence.

(I'm not saying that Fiona consented, just that is the normal use of the charge)

It's been an awful time for her

She gave an interview two weeks ago where she said:

"Mais je nai plus mal aux tendons dAchille et jai un peu plus despace dans la tête."

i.e. her achilles tendon is not causing her pain any more and she's feeling a bit better mentally (I've got a bit more 'space' in my head)

Kartal has the first set, however Hruncakova cant continue to be this bad for the rest of the match.

I'm amazed that former GS champion Kenin is having to qualify. Are the French that hardcore about giving MD wildcards to non-French players?
