Really pleased that Emily won and in the next round she'll play either Eliz or Lauren which guarantees us someone in the SF. Happy days.

good effort from LJB in particular, but for 3 to reach the last 8 unseeded is a job well done so far.

3rd counter for Lauryn ( and an increasingly good one ) so she will have a WTA singles ranking again

On 3 + 9 ( so far ) = 12 points

 

Plus there will be further new CHs for the also still involved Emily and Marni. currently showing as live ranked 430 and 437 respectively.

There only seems to be one livestream channel here today and it's not showing any of our ladies which is most disappointing.

I'm back to watching Hollie Smart with my sandwich - I'm not even a particular fan of Hollie but you take what you can get no

 I just came on here to moan about that too. Surely one of the perks of running the damn tournament is to have your own players on the stream. Sigh!

With their QF wins Emily and Marni are now live 414 and 424 respectively. And at least a further 12 points to come for one of them.

Interesting scheduling from Emily App who is down to play 100k next week. So presumably if she wins tomorrow, she would get across for singles qualifying and she could use an SR as she is stepping up.

No issues for Marni as she is already main draw next week
