Honestly think Draper should skip RG at this point .
I don't think anyone can do that though, from a financial point of view
I thought they just could no longer do what Katie B did one year at RG? Which is withdraw late and collect a pay cheque. Jack would get any necessary WC during grass to make up for it.
To stop what Katie did they put in a restriction that they had to have played in the previous 3 weeks to be able to still receive prize money for a late on site withdrawal.
But if you take to the court, and then retire, you still get half the money, yes? (And if you play poorly and lose, you get all). And it's not just money, of course, it's very difficult to skip a Grand Slam when it's your peak goals of the year (although obviously Wimbly would rank higher thant RG)
Why thought the guy cant even handle best of 3 sets physically on clay . No way he will last 5 sets on clay . I know he missed a chunk of his pre season training at the end of last year . Hes so frustrating honestly .

Just looking at Sweden mens 25k where Jay Clarke, Mark Whitehouseand Charles Brown are entered, rankings of 1000+ gets into main draw so really weak event.
If the draws fall nicely a great chance for Jay and Mark to pick up decent points for top 500
It looks like Harriet is our sole female representative in Rome.
That's really surprising given that she was the one playing today in Nottingham. Where is Jodie who would definitely be on the entry list?
Jodie was at the rugby yesterday, so must have chosen to not play, She would have been seeded in qualifying in Rome. Frech WR100 is Q10 and Harriet is Q24
Hmm, with the comparative rankings spreads we still manage to have more men in Rome qualifying than women.
As often with Dan, while as I said at the time he could have been rather more nuanced with his recent comments ( but I guess that is not really him ), there was some real truth there..

He wouldn't be Dan if he was more nuanced. I'd love to see him go into commentating when he retires from playing, would be a hoot
