RE: Mika Stojsavljevic

Any idea how Mika is going to get her ranking up then? She is now out of the top 300 .

Shes a whole career ahead of her. It's not just about rankings and she's got plenty of time to build her ranking. Shes got no entries in her schedule on LTR it seems, so it's clearly not the top priority right now. As Indy says, go for the experience. And she may surprise us.

Agree with your comment about her whole career ahead  of her. Trouble is it went in the wrong direction in 2026.

IMO it's the right decision to play in Asia, at a higher event

If she plays Wrexham and loses in the QFs or SFs, say, she's done worse than last year, it's going backwards

Playing Asia is a challenge, the chance for a big success

And she was very close last year

And, importantly, it's presumably what her sponsors want - that matters

She'll have plenty of chance to play some completely 'normal' events and get her ranking up

She's still in restricted events at the moment - she only turns 18 at the end of the year

2026 wasn't a great year but that wasn't to do with scheduling - that was a coaching thing, a tennis thing - and that needs addressing in and of itself (and maybe she has done so now) - a slightly different schedule won't make any difference
