I don't think you are allowed to accept a Wild Card into a lower level tournament once you have been accepted into a main draw - so that rules out Eden and Katie S.

Rules and regs are SO not my forté
(Although Eden for a doubles place?)
So back to Tiff and Jasmine and Allegra - and unknown youngster (or Beth?)
All good fun
Meanwhile, Dani and Hannah R have both won the first set but are both well down in the second
Kristina P has also just won the first set
Alice looks like she might be taking care of the Last Remaining Popescu
Tiff/Jasmine/Allegra all seem like good shouts. Only foreign player with a Nottingham connection as far as I can tell (and I mean connection very loosely in this case) is Knutson, who I think is in the MD anyway.
Like what I'm seeing from Kristina Paskauskas so far, who has a good chance of going through from here, although a few of her backhands have been sitting up a bit too nicely for her French opponent during certain rallies. Stresnakova/Daley could go either way...
On the first one, she was brave, came in, nice volley but Emma managed to scoop out an excellent passing
Then she played a bit cautiously, too short, Emma hit an easy winner
Then getting a bit rattled, she makes an UE
And it's curtains for Danielle Daley. 10-7 to Stresnakova in the tiebreak. It was 7-7 but Daley missed an absolute sitter of a put-away at the net and then seemed to lose her cool. Stresnakova was the 'cleaner' player during the match and on balance probably deserved it.
Dani had a big MTO half way through the second set
But I agree, Densher - that point at 7-7 was just hideous - it was difficult to say she deserved it after that, even if the rest had been relatively even
