Thanks to you and CD, the Australian origin would explain why she appears to have come from nowhere aged 26!
Maia is on the doubles list although she withdrew from the singles on Thursday. Still a possibility ? Talia withdrew on the same day. The other name that springs to mind is Beth, but she hasn't played for two months.
I say give it to Julie Pullin. She hasn't had one in a while
Maybe Eden and Katie Swan are going to turn up ???
Not sure why you'd drop out of a W60 to get a wildcard to a 25k when you could have simply got in the 25k if you'd signed in in the first place but hey....
Allegra Korpanec Davies and Kate Mansfield were on the qualifying list but missing from the draw. Allegra is based in Nottingham I think so maybe? Not sure about Kate as it would be unusual for the LTA to give an overseas registered player a WC even if they have British connections.

Darn, I'd put Allegra down on my initial list - and then forgotten all about her
Pretty sure Kate M has no Nottingham connection - she's from London/the south, isn't she?
Of course, maybe she's thinking of switching countries and this is all part of the deal????
